The Paris Grave of JPJ

The three month "dig" beneath the streets of Paris required elaborately constructed shafts supported by timber beams. The bottom photo shows US Ambassador to France Horace Porter (on left) at the site where the embalmed body of John Paul Jones was found after six years of research.
