Horace Porter's 1905 archeological report provided many detailed illustrations including this drawing of the Rue Grange-aux-Belles, a street built up on what was once a Protestant burying ground in Paris. The diagram shows the digging site, the exploratory shafts and the five lead coffins (highlighted in blue) and the coffin of John Paul Jones (with red arrow).
