Am unknown photographer captured Gould’s Market on Charles Street around 1915 in Puddle Dock. Georgie Gould, a colorful Portsmouth character ran this tiny neighborhood store. Her half-sister Bertha Abbott ran the Little Corner Store just two blocks away at Strawbery Banke.
