A CARD
We desire to express our sincere thanks to the citizens of Portsmouth
and friends generally, who have proffered aid and sympathy in the time
of our bereavement; to Commodore Howell of the Navy Yard, and the
officers of the U.S. steamer Mayflower; and to Mrs. Frank W. Miller for
wreaths and flowers so timely sent us on Monday.
