The Well on Smuttynose
Currently not used, this well was a source of fresh water on Smuttynose in the 1800s. It is reporredly the location where Louis Wagner washed up after the murders and where the ax was used to break the ice for water in the winter. (Photo by J. Dennis Robinson)
